Plastisock

Plastisock startades 2005 av Emily Willman och Malin Jarbo. Trötta på det stereotypa, färglösa barnmodet i Sverige förverkligade de en dröm om att skapa textilier med stuns i och plagg som låter barn vara barn.

- Sammanlagt har vi fem(!) barn så vi hade en klar bild av vad som saknades på marknaden! Plastisocks design känns igen på sina klara färger och tryck med massor för barn att upptäcka. Alla mönster och färger finns i modeller för både killar och tjejer. Att inte skilja på motiv för pojkar och flickor är en av grundpelarna i Plastisocks designfilosofi.

Plastisock was launched in 2005 when Emily Willman and Malin Jarbo got fed up of simply complaining about the gender divide baby clothes market and decided to do something about it. It was their vision that kids can like both dinosaurs and dolls, and look smashing in a tutu with a cowboy hat. It doesn’t have to be one way or the other.

We wanted to make a difference to the stereotyped childrensmarket in Sweden. Our design stands out. It has splendid colours and patterns suitable for both boys and girls. Our collections are devided in models and patterns NOT in boy or girl items. We want our customers to feel free.
